This online short course in JavaScript will give you a foundation of knowledge that you can build on if you wish to develop entry level IT skills. It will also test your ability to apply your knowledge and skills prior to entering the testing environment. Its aim is to adequately prepare you for taking the certification exam.

    • Evaluate expressions that use logical and comparison operators
    • Complete and debug decision statements
    • Complete and debug loops
  • Document Object Model

    • Identify and construct the Document Object Model (DOM) tree
    • Identify and handle document, form, keyboard, and mouse events
    • Complete and debug code that outputs to an HTML document
    • Complete and debug code that locates, modifies, and adds HTML elements and attributes to documents
    • Create events using event handlers and listeners
  • HTML Forms

    • Complete and debug code that retrieves form input and sets form field values
    • Complete and debug code that performs input validation
    • Describe the form submission process

Your knowledge and skills will be tested by means of online performance-based assessments and practice questions. These tools will help prepare you for the certification exam by testing your ability to apply your knowledge.


Once you have completed this online short course you should be adequately prepared to take the JavaScript certification exam via Certiport.
