This online CompTIA A+ training short course teaches the student how to install, repair, upgrade, configure, optimise, troubleshoot, and perform preventative maintenance on personal computers and operating systems.
If you want to pursue a career in the IT technician field, this course is a good starting point as it will give you the foundational knowledge you need to support both hardware and software issues.

This course covers the following topics:
- CompTIA A+ 220-1001: Mobile devices, networking technology, hardware, virtualisation and cloud computing and network troubleshooting.
- CompTIA A+ 220-1002: Installing and configuring operating systems, expanded security, software troubleshooting and operational procedures.
For each module you will be required to complete both a pre-assessment and a post-assessment to test your knowledge and competency.
COURSE EXIT OUTCOMES:
Once you have completed this online short course you should demonstrate foundational knowledge of how to troubleshoot a wide range of devices, from computers to smartphones, and be familiar with the technology vocabulary related to computer hardware and software.
